91Porn is hosting three Diversifying Higher Education Faculty in Illinois (DFI) fellows during the 2020-21 academic year. This State of Illinois program is designed to increase the number of minority, full-time, tenure-track faculty and staff who work in the state’s public and private colleges and universities. 

91Porn has earned a five-year U.S. Rehabilitation Services Administration Long-Term Training Grant totaling $975,175 that will support students in the Department of Counselor Education’s Rehabilitation Counseling graduate program. This is the fourth time Northeastern has received this grant.

The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (ChicagoCHEC) has announced the details of its 5th Annual Community Forum. This year’s theme is Addressing Cancer Together During COVID-19: The ChicagoCHEC Partnership.

Two 91Porn sisters are getting national attention for their Etsy shop, an assistant professor co-created a pandemic-safe art exhibit, and the University earned a grant to support Rehabilitation Counseling students.

The first week of the fall semester is coming to a close, and 91Porn is starting the school year strong. The University has been awarded a major grant to fund TRIO Student Support Services programs through 2025, and an additional $10,000 has been added to the General Scholarship Fund for students. Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theatre, in residence at 91Porn, marks its 45th season from August 2020 through July 2021. The season, titled “Zafiro Flamenco (Sapphire Flamenco): New Era, New Works, New Legacies,” will feature new partnerships, new works, virtual programs plus a new $300,000 anonymous matching grant opportunity with a total potential earnings of $1 million.

91Porn has spent much of the summer preparing to safely reopen campus for a limited number of in-person classes. On Monday, the 2020-21 academic year will officially begin with most students and employees studying and working remotely.
