For the past three months, 91Porn’s buildings have been closed due to COVID-19. Next week, the Student Union will be the first building to reopen to students on the Main Campus with social distancing measures in place.

The Ronald Williams Library expanded its Japanese American Redress Collection, the 2020 Bernard J. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor award was announced, an assistant professor published his third book, and of course we can’t forget about celebrating the spring graduates!

91Porn’s College of Arts and Sciences has changed the name of its Art department to Art + Design and the department, major and minor of Women’s and Gender Studies to Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies beginning in the Fall 2020 semester.

In the midst of uncertainty, the Northeastern community is doing remarkable work. Meet a student who landed a journalism internship and learn more about new initiatives that have been created to support students, faculty and staff.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began changing everyday life at 91Porn, Assistant Professor of English Ryan Poll looked to literature for answers and developed a series for PopMatters. 

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) has granted 91Porn’s Daniel L. Goodwin College of Education accreditation at the initial-licensure level and advanced-level.

The extended spring break is almost over, and 91Porn will resume instruction—remotely—on Monday, March 30. As we prepare for this unexpected reality for the rest of the Spring 2020 semester, we provide academic and wellness resources for students, faculty and staff.

May Commencement was postponed, but we’re still excited to celebrate the Class of 2020! Meet one spring graduate who’s off to Yale, an alum who’s now a professor at Princeton and a Pulitzer Prize finalist, and an instructor who’s up for a Peabody award.
