ECONOMICS, MINOR
The Economics minor is an excellent complement to a wide variety of programs, such as Computer Science, Environmental Studies, Political Science and Philosophy–as well as any major at NEIU. We provide students with an introduction to economic issues and the tools of economic decision-making. This helps boost your employability as you pursue the major of your choice.
The minor requires 18 credits (microeconomics and macroeconomic principles, a statistics or tools class and three electives). We can help you choose courses based on interests in policy, data analysis, urban studies or finance. Dr. Scott Hegerty can help you plan your minor.
