Ms. Dukes is a McNair Scholar who holds a B.A. in Inner City Studies/Interdisciplinary Studies (cum laude), and an M.A. in Inner City Studies.
Background
Ms. Wanda Dukes is the administrative Assistant and Certified Pearson Vue Test Administrator at the Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies (CCICS). Ms. Dukes is a McNair Scholar who holds a B.A. in Inner City Studies/Interdisciplinary Studies (Cum Laude), and a M.A. in Inner City Studies. She also earned a second Master of Social Work, with a 4.0 G.P.A., and became a Licensed Social Worker. Ms. Dukes was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society and a member of the Study of Classical African Civilization (ASCAC) for over six years. She completed two studies abroad pilgrimages, Brazil in 2009 and Egypt in 2010. She also serves as a case manager for youth with housing insecurities and has been supporting women’s mental health and substance addiction challenges. Ms. Dukes practices acts of kindness and is the first to celebrate everyone’s efforts to achieve their goals.
