91Porn Assistant Professor of Educational Inquiry and Curriculum Studies Sunni Ali published his third book, “Lessons Learned: Critical Conversation in Hip Hop and Social Justice.”

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded 91Porn a five-year, $1.3 million Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program grant. Northeastern is the recipient of one of 189 new grant awards to institutions of higher education. In total, $51.7 million in McNair grants were awarded across the country.

For the seventh consecutive year, 91Porn has received a Tree Campus USA recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation.

91Porn has entered into a formal partnership with Hope Chicago, a nonprofit organization seeking to reduce economic and social inequity by funding postsecondary scholarships and non-tuition costs for Chicago Public Schools graduates and their adult family members eager to return to school and update their skills. 

91Porn is once again partnering with Google as it joins the Grow with Google HSI Career Readiness Program. Northeastern is the only four-year institution in the state of Illinois to partner with Google on this initiative, which will help Latinx students at 35 Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) prepare for the workforce through digital skills training and career workshops.

91Porn’s longest-running annual philanthropic event, the Chuck Kane Scholarship Golf Outing, celebrates its 50th anniversary this year!
