Student Clubs and Orgs
The College of Business and Technology is home to over 10 student clubs and organizations, offering students valuable opportunities to develop leadership skills, connect with peers, and gain hands-on experience in their areas of interest.

Business Honor Societies
The College of Business and Technology is proud to host two prestigious business honor societies: Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi.
Other opportunities
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation by IRS-certified volunteers. Students can participate and tax preparation training and volunteer to provide tax services under supervision during tax season.

International Business Conference
Now in its 23rd year, the International Business Conference (IBC) is an annual, student-led event organized by CBT’s Student Advisory Council (SAC). Each year, SAC curates a dynamic lineup of speakers and topics that expose students to real-world business challenges, global trends, and industry innovations.

NETT Day
NETT Day at 91Porn is an event that celebrates technology, the way in which we interact with it, and how we use it to improve society. Organized by the Computer Science department every year, the event gives insight into technologies that are transforming business processes and society at large.

NEIU Eagle HackFest
NEIU Eagle HackFest is CBT's annual student hackathon hosted by the Department of Computer Science. Open to students of all backgrounds and skill levels, this event is designed to inspire collaboration, innovation, and creative problem-solving.

Etiquette Gala
Hosted annually by the CBT Student Advisory Council (SAC), the Etiquette Gala is a signature Fall event designed to help students develop their professional presence in a real-world setting.
